Judge Wiseman has been a General Division Judge since November 2007. She is the Chair of the Judicial Technology Committee and serves on the Judicial Civil Practice, Criminal Practice and Security Committees.

Judge Wiseman received her B.S. from Ball State University in 1984 and her J.D. with honors from the University of Arkansas in 1988. In law school, Judge Wiseman was executive editor of the U.A.L.R. Law Journal and was twice published by the law journal.

Before assuming the bench, Judge Wiseman had over nineteen years of litigation experience. Her diverse practice focused on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. She most recently practiced with Coolidge Wall, Co., L.P.A. As a litigator, she was AV rated and named one of the best lawyers in Dayton. She also is an adjunct professor of trial practice and evidence at the University of Dayton School of Law and an adjunct instructor for the paralegal program at Sinclair Community College. She is a frequent speaker at CLE seminars on litigation related topics. She served an elected term to the Dayton City Commission from 1998-2002.

Judge Wiseman currently serves on the boards of Legal Aid of Western Ohio/Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, the Volunteer Lawyer's Project for Greater Dayton, and The Entrepreneur's Center of Dayton. She also served on the Montgomery County Public Defender Commission.

She is a longtime member of the American, Ohio and Dayton Bar Associations. She is past co-chair of the Dayton Bar Association Diversity Committee. She also is a member of the Carl D. Kessler Inn of Court where she served as a master litigator, and the Dayton Intellectual Property Law Association.

She is admitted to the Bar in Ohio, Arkansas, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fourth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
