The following Manual of Transcript Procedures applies to all transcripts prepared for or filed with the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, General Division. All transcripts filed with the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, General Division, must be prepared in the form set out in this manual.

Transcripts Paid for with Public Funds from Electronic Courtrooms Fact Sheet
The General Division is implementing a new process for the preparation of transcripts of courtroom proceedings from audio/video recording. This new process is limited to transcripts prepared for use by criminal defendants who have been determined to be indigent and other transcripts paid for from public funds.
